Test Development Engineer

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a World Leading/ well established and High-Tech Company that produces and markets semiconductors and sensors, primarily for use in the automotive industry.

Our client is looking for a Test Development Engineer to join their experienced team of Engineers focused on Semiconductor tests for the Automotive industry.

Reporting line – Test Manager

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting product improvements
• Development of test programs for ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) for testing micro-electronic automotive circuits
• Technical and statistical evaluation of measurements results
• Development of measurement- and interface circuits (e.g. load boards)
• Documentation of circuits and test programs
• Continuously improve test methodologies and tools

Profile:

• Knowledge in the programming of ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) for testing micro-electronic circuits
• Completed studies in the field of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or similar
• Knowledge of testing methods for analog or digital circuits and ability to handle electrical measurement devices (multimeter, oscilloscope….)
• First experiences in the development of micro-electronic circuits, preferably in a company in the semiconductor industry would be ideal but not a must
• Good command of operating systems Windows and Unix/ Linux
• Programming skills in C/C++ and scripting languages are desirable
• Creative in thinking, able to solves problems, you work independently and cost-efficiently
