Test Development Engineer

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a German based, leader in Semiconductors and sensors used primarily in the Automotive industry.

Our client is looking for a technical, problem-solving Test Development Engineer to be responsible for developing test programs.

Location – North Rhine-Westphalia based, HQ close to Dortmund

Reporting line – Test Development Manager

Main responsibilities:

• Development of test programs for automatic semiconductor systems
• Development of measurement and interface circuits
• Technical and statistical evaluation of measurement results
• Further development of procedures for the efficient testing of complex circuits in a challenging, international high-tech environment
• Being a creative thinking, problem solver and enjoying independent and team working
• Develop, document and evaluate test systems

Profile:

• Completed degree in electrical engineering or comparable
• Knowledge of at least one higher programming language, ideally see/C++ and script language
• Knowledge of windows and UNIX/Linux operating systems
• Desirable: First experience in microelectronics development, preferably in a company in the semiconductor industry, interest development and/or knowledge of the automation of electrical measurements of micro electronic circuits in a laboratory or production environment
• Ideally knowledge of measuring methods in analog and digital circuits and safe handling of measuring devices (multimeter, oscilloscope)
• Willingness to innovate, be reliable and the ability to work within a team

Languages:

Fluent in English, German would be a bonus
