Senior Service Engineer

MasterSearch are currently working with a Global Key player in the Semiconductor Industry who’s European division is one of the leading suppliers of thermal batch semiconductor manufacturing equipment to semiconductor manufacturing companies in the EMEA region.

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to become a major part of their growing team in Dresden and be responsible for all service topics at a vital customer!

Reporting line – Service Manager EMEA

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe working environment and strictly adhere to all safety guidelines, policies and procedures at customer sides
• Installation, commissioning and sustaining of the companies semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites in Dresden
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair any issues that occur
• Report on schedule performance and take action to resolve any delays, or issues
• Being a major part in building and help growing our new team in Dresden

Profile:

• Bachelors / master’s degree / Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electronical or Mechatronic Engineering or Certified Technician
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently as well as the team environment
• Comfortable working on complex electro-mechanical equipment in a cleanroom manufacturing environment, good manual dexterity with a high focus on safety and quality
• Minimum 2+ years experience in Equipment maintenance and/or installation experience in a highly technical industry
• Aptitude to work with electro-mechanical schematics and ladder logic would be a plus
• Previous experience of installing or maintaining vertical diffusion furnaces or other semiconductor equipment would be an advantage but the client is happy to train
• Willing to travel to other EU customers if required

Languages:

Fluent in English is a must, communicative German would be beneficial
