Senior Project Manager Automotive

MasterSearch are currently working with a German based, family-owned, leading manufacturer of electromagnetic actuators for the automotive and mobile hydraulic industry.

Our client is looking for a Customer focused Senior Project Manager with the ability to also take leadership of their project team which will include multiple disciplines.

Main responsibilities:

• Project management of system development projects in the automotive sector
• Leadership of the project team
• Preparation and presentation of the project progress to the steering committee
• Deadline and cost tracking (adherence: deadlines, costs, quality)
• Contact person for customers related to project management
• Monitor project escalation levels and ensure compliance

Profile:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable degree
• Several years of experience in the management of development projects in the automotive sector, ideally with an Electrical or Mechatronic product group
• Certification in Project Management (GPM) desirable
• Critical thinking and solution-oriented approach
• Assertive personality with a structured and independent way of working
• High adaptability and ability to work in a team
• ASpice knowledge is an advantage
• Conflict resolution skills and very good communication skills
