Senior Key Account Manager

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a Global leading designer and manufacturer of advanced vacuum products and related value-added services for a number of high-tech industries.

Our client is looking for a Senior Key Account Manager to cover the region of NRW/ North Hesse/ South Lower Saxony (e.g. Braunschweig, Göttingen, Kassel, Münster, Düsseldorf, Cologne).

Reporting line – Head of Sales Germany

Main responsibilities:

  • Analysis of market potential for new products and applications
  • First point of contact for existing customers, as well as acquisition of new customers in your own sales area
  • Development and implementation of territory and business plans, sales targets and strategies to increase market share
  • Technical advice on suitable, holistic customer solutions
  • Cooperation with related departments such as internal sales, marketing, sales operations and product management
  • Conducting sales negotiations, preparation of offers and follow-up
  • Maintenance of the internal CRM tool

Profile:

  • Good commercial knowledge, understanding of contract terms and negotiations
  • Successfully completed studies in physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering or comparable
  • Advice affinity and sales orientation with the ability to effectively manage relationships, enjoy working in a team
  • At least 3+ years of sales experience and a proven track record in technical sales of products that require explanation, preferably vacuum products

Fluent in German and English
