Project Manager – IC and Microsystem Development Projects

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a German based leader in Semiconductors and sensors, used primarily in the Automotive industry.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to work on their IC and microsystem development projects.

Reporting line – Senior Management

Main responsibilities:

• Management of IC and microsystem development projects including planning, budgeting, architecture and implementation
• Coordination of an interdisciplinary team consisting of development engineers and technicians
• Collection of product requirements as well as technical and planning coordination with customers (mostly from the automotive industry)
• Coordination of work within the scope of the certified procedures and processes, especially the internal interfaces (quality, production, sales…)
• Development of innovative and reliable micro chip and system solutions
• Working in an international environment

Profile:

• Completed university degree in the field of electrical/communications engineering or a comparable technical course
• At least 5 years of professional experience in project management or management (preferably in the automotive and semiconductor industries)
• Professional leadership skills, team spirit, sense of responsibility, flexibility and high communication skills
• Knowledge of requirements management (Polarion, Jama, Doors or similar), VModell and functional safety processes
• Structured and systematic approach

Languages:

Fluent in English and a good level of German
