Project Manager

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a large global power management and electrical components manufacturer company.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Paris. The team is specialised in the design and manufacture of specific connection systems for the very demanding sectors of marine, aeronautics, space, defense and nuclear.

Main responsibilities:

• Be the privileged interlocutor of the client within the framework of development projects and/or execution of contracts;
• Manage the activities of a multi-project platform while respecting the project management process;
• Set the objectives and coordinate the different actors / functions involved in the projects;
• Coordinate problem-solving and remedial action plans in the event of non-compliance with commitments;
• Ensure compliance with deadline and budget commitments and alert in the event of deviation;
• Identify, consolidate and analyse risks/opportunities, and take charge of steering the associated action plans;
• Participate in the framing and definition of projects in the pre-project phases;
• Consolidate the schedules and the profitability analysis of the projects, on the basis of the elements reported by the functions concerned
• Reporting to management on the progress of projects

Profile:

• Higher education Generalist Engineer and/or Mechanical or Aeronautical oriented
• At least 5 years of experience, ideally acquired in a Project management or Program management position
• Experience in a technical industry / product group
• Ability to manage multi-discipline teams
• Active problem solver

Languages:

Fluent in French and English
