Product Manager – Low Voltage Assemblies

MasterSearch are currently working with a World-leading Electrical component manufacturer with over 80,000 employees globally.

Our client is looking for an experienced Product Manager, to be the contact and expert for the assigned technologies within the German market for the most important product groups within the company.

Reporting line – Head of Product Management

Main responsibilities:

• Identification of market trends and validation of customer information provided
• Capture and analyze the market price level
• Coordination with the departments about the right market price for new products and systems
• Analysis of customer needs at product, system and application level
• Localization of the product portfolio provided by the departments for the German market
• Analysis of the competitive and market environment in the corresponding customer/target segments
• Ensuring the adaptation of products, systems and software to the needs of the local market based on standards, laws and specifications or requirements
• Independent planning and implementation of market launch and product phase-out projects in coordination with the relevant local decision-makers
• Development and elaboration of value propositions for the targeted addressing of target customers and segments
• Support in the development of marketing documents for sales promotions or product or system launches, online and offline
• Development of technical content for email campaigns, blogs, videos and local websites in cooperation with segment / channel marketers
• Development of technical content for social media

Profile:

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic matrix environment
• Completed studies (bachelor, diploma, master) in the field of electrical engineering, automation technology, industrial engineering, energy technology or similar
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Experience in the field of low-voltage switchgear with a focus on electrical building infrastructure
• Application and segment knowledge within the technical building equipment (TGA)
• Experience in technical marketing, product management and product development
• Strong analytical mind
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
