PLC Software Developer

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a global leader in automation and vacuum solutions for multiple semiconductor markets.

Our client is looking for a PLC Software Developer to join their rapidly growing Global team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting in cooperation with the international service team as well as correction of the software used
  • Design and development of Real Time Embedded Software for Semiconductor Tools
  • Development and implementation of test plans, internally or on customer site on current hardware or on test benches
  • Occasional trips to customers worldwide to install tools or troubleshoot
  • Development of new programs and modules as well as extensions, changes and corrections to existing software
  • Distribution and provision of the PLC software

Profile:

  • You have a degree in computer science, automation technology or mechatronics
  • Experience with B&R Studio or similar as well as with Azure DevOps, Git would be ideal
  • Experience using SPS or Embedded Applications in C
  • A knowledge of control theory
  • 1+ years experience in professional software development
  • Knowledge of industrial BUS systems and drive technologies
  • You have relevant knowledge of object-oriented programming in C++
  • Ability to read and understand complex circuit diagrams
  • Experience with agile methods (Scrum)

Languages:

Fluent in English, German skills are a bonus
