Functional Safety Expert

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a German based, leader in Semiconductors and sensors used primarily in the Automotive industry.

Our client is looking for a committed and confident functional safety expert with the ability to present to customers and project managers.

Reporting line – Functional Safety Manager

Main responsibilities:

• Planning, coordination and support of the “Functional Safety” of innovative products over the entire development cycle
• Definition of security requirements at product level with our customers
• Development of security concepts including security mechanisms
• Derivation of the hardware and software security requirements
• Carrying out safety analysis, e.g. FMEDA, DFA, FTA
• Presentation of “Functional Safety” to customers and department management
• Further development of the development processes and methodology in accordance with the specifications of ISO26262
• Presentation of “Functional Safety” to customers and project managers

Profile:

• Completed degree in electrical engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or similar
• Experience in concept development of electronic systems
• Sound knowledge of “Functional Safety“ (ISO26262)
• Excellent reliability, teamwork, high commitment, and a goal orientated way of working
• Confident appearance, persuasiveness and assertiveness

Languages:

Fluent in German and English
