Project Manager – Software

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with a German based, leader in Semiconductors and sensors used primarily in the Automotive industry.

Our client is looking for a Customer focused and structured Software Project Manager with the view to build up a new Software team and influence the company in a huge way by implementing standards, defining processes and defining the team.

Reporting line – Vice President of Project Management

Main responsibilities:

• Lead embedded software projects with real-time requirements: definition, planning, architecture, execution and rollout
• Coordination of an interdisciplinary technical project team (internal and external)
• Definition of project scope and system as well as software requirements
• Implement software standards and define software processes as well as building a software team
• Coordination with international customers
• Following automotive processes with respect to safety and quality
• Reporting to top management and suggesting solutions

Profile:

• University degree in electronics, communications, embedded software or similar, Masters is a plus
• A strong software development and software project management background
• Knowledge in requirement management (Polaroin, Jama, doors or similar), V-Model and functional safety
• Experience in at Joe software development and testing
• Customer orientated and a structured way of working

Languages:

Fluent in English, German skills would be a plus
