Field Service Engineer

MasterSearch are currently working with a Global Leader in the Semiconductor Technology sector who develop and manufacture Semiconductor equipment for EUV / Laser inspection systems.
Our client is looking for a technical, problem-solving Customer Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer to be a part of a team responsible for a vital customer.
Reporting line – Service Manager
Main responsibilities:
- Installation and start-up of new equipment or upgrades based at customer sites
- Servicing of existing equipment, troubleshooting, repairing, upgrading, etc
- Following and working to documented ‘best known’ methods
- Documenting all work performed
- Taking ownership of and managing projects at customer sites
- Representing the company in front of customers in a loyal, focused way
Profile:
- Certified Engineer or degree from advanced technology college or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in any Semiconductor equipment would be ideal but not a must
- Ability to understand High tech / complex products
- Strong communication and organisation skills as well as enjoyment of dealing with customers
- Independent working method and initiative
- Ability to travel to other customers if required but most of the time will be spent in Leixlip
