Director Sales – Semiconductor Metrology

MasterSearch are currently working with an International manufacturer and distributor of scientific, analytical and industrial instrumentation.

Our client is looking for a Director of Sales, Semiconductor Metrology Tools for their European office, to support their semiconductor customers in the EMEA market region and build a new Sales and Service team in Europe.

Reporting line – CEO for Europe & Global Head of Semiconductor BU

Main responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for the success of Semiconductor Metrology business unit in EMEA
• Negotiation of framework-contracts as well as building a personal relationship with key customers on a C-level
• Driving success of distribution network and create direct sales force
• Direct reporting line to the headquarter in Japan and Europe
• Strategically developing the business and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue in the semiconductor market
• Expanding business with existing accounts as well as acquiring of new customers
• Analyzing of markets and identifying and addressing of business potentials
• Working in an international environment, communication with R&D and Manufacturing in Japan, Europe and US
• Good interaction with local and Worldwide service Team
• Managing, developing, and expansion of a local team

Profile:

• Long-term experience in the semiconductor industry with documented success
• Technical or commercial university degree
• Extensive leadership and sales experience from a position on a similar level in an international environment would be preferred
• Good knowledge in the field of Metrology systems for the industry
• Entrepreneurial sales-personality with conceptual strength
• Trustworthy person living in the DACH-region or other areas of Europe

Languages:

Fluent in English is a must, German would be beneficial
