Account Manager – East Germany

Company:

MasterSearch are currently working with one of the world’s largest manufacturers of air filtration solutions, who have warehousing and distribution facilities in over 20 countries globally.

Our client is looking for a customer focused, solution orientated Account Manager / Sales Manager to be responsible for all accounts and new business across East Germany.

Reporting line – Vice President of Sales Europe

Main responsibilities:

  • Meeting sales results by achieving expected sales and targets
  • Strategic Account plan, identifying market potential and qualifying accounts, possibly in the form of a strategic account plan / annual account plan
  • Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments with customers by means of acquisition
  • Giving presentations and taking into account the requirements and wishes of the customer but not losing sight of commercial interest
  • Building and maintaining business relationships
  • Increasing the revenue of existing accounts by offering new products and services
  • Spotting opportunities in the market and further developing them into commercial products
  • Contributing to the collection of strategic market information by tracking competitor products and customer response
  • Identifying customer needs by recommending new products and service by evaluating product outcomes
  • Maintaining correct administration, including contracts, e-mail handling, quotations, etc.

Profile:

  • Education within a technical topic / with a technical focus
  • At least 2 years experience in a commercial and target-driven environment
  • Experience within a technical product environment (HVAC is a bonus)
  • Experience with CRM systems, SAP is a ideal but not a must
  • Ability to understand technical products and have technical discussions
  • You are able to set priorities and can work well on a project basis
  • Integrity and strong communication skills
  • Excellent experience in building lasting relationships and can easily switch between finding new entrances and deepening existing relationships
